Dr. Wei Nana completed her Ph.D. in Preventive Veterinary Medicine in 2018 through a joint program at South China Agricultural University and the Shanghai Veterinary Research Institute. She also holds a Master’s degree in the same field (2012) and a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Liaocheng University (2009). Her research has consistently focused on addressing critical issues in molecular and animal medicine, from oncolytic virus development to immune modulation.

Dr. Wei’s career spans academia, research, and biotechnology. At East China Normal University, she currently explores gut microbiota’s role in neurological disorders and develops organoid platforms. Previously, she held postdoctoral positions at the Shanghai Veterinary Research Institute, where her work on gut flora in diabetes and cancer earned recognition. Dr. Wei also has experience in the biotechnology sector, managing biomedical projects and leading teams in Shanghai-based companies.
