Dr. Maria Szwajkowska An ophthalmology specialist with 19 years of experience in pediatric ophthalmology, she serves as Coordinator of the Ophthalmology Department within the Department of Head and Neck Surgery for Children and Adolescents at the Regional Specialized Children’s Hospital in Olsztyn, Poland. A graduate of the Medical University of Gdańsk, she began her medical career there before continuing her professional work in Olsztyn. She completed a doctoral dissertation focused on evaluating the treatment of myopia in children using low-dose atropine. Her clinical practice centers on diagnosing and managing eye diseases in children and adolescents, offering both conservative care and surgical treatment for strabismus, as well as specialized ophthalmic diagnostics for patients with rare diseases.
